Hello team Lilli,
Sometimes when I have penetrative sex and I am very aroused, me and my female partner want to continue penetration after my ejaculation. We want to keep going immediately for a "second round"(ex. wait only 15-30 seconds for my penis to return to normal sensitivity, but still being erect) because my female partner's arousal and mine are still high, and there would be no problem at all if we were doing bare penetration. But for the moment bare penetration is not a possibility, and I use condoms for both STI protection and contraception. To keep my erection, I need to resume quickly, otherwise I have to wait 30min to an hour, and my partner will not necessarily be in the mood anymore. The problem arises when I have to change my condom. I heard you must dispose of the filled condom before continuing to have sex, as it might slip and leak a little, and it is true that when the condom is filled, it becomes very slippery. I also heard good practice would be to wash properly your penis (with soap etc.) after ejaculation to remove sperm traces that could contaminate the external side of the condom when putting a new one later. Doing just a fast condom change is ok, but it takes too much time to also wash my penis properly and I lose my erection. I would like to know if you would have a good method to suggest for me to go for a "second round", while remaining safe against STI and pregnancy ?
Thank you

I suggest you to keep a small bin and some tissues next to your bed or near where you have sex. You can use the bin to quickly dispose of the condom without having to go into another room. And you can use the tissues to wipe your penis dry when you change the condom. You don't need to wash your penis with soap when you change condoms. That's because sperm can't move if it's not in its fluid, and if it dries out, it dies quickly. So after wiping your penis and hands dry, there is no risk of your partner getting pregnant.

To stay safe from STIs, you should be careful if you get some semen on your hand while changing a condom. In this case, you should avoid touching your partner's genitals until you've washed your hands properly.
