When erect my penis 18 cm long, and 16 cm circumference at the middle and 14.5 cm thick at the base. The base of my penis is not only thinner but also more flexible and weaker compared to the rest of the penis.
During sex if I am not mindful of the angle of penetration, the flexibility of the base makes the whole penis bend at an odd angle and hurts.
It happens more during woman on top positions, and sometimes it bends and hurts so bad that I ask my partner to change position coz I am afraid of incurring a penile fracture.

I do understand that penises comes in all shapes and sizes, so I don't think I am abnormal or anything like that.

I'd like to know, if there's something that I can do to strengthen the base of my penis and/or how to work with what I have?

It is strange that your penis is hard at the top and not at the base, because the erectile tissue runs through the entire penis. It's possible for this to happen if you induce an erection artificially with a vacuum pump and put a rubber penis ring over the penis so that it stays hard — in that case it is possible that the part at the base is flaccid because the blood is not constricted there by the rubber ring. But without the use of a penis ring, it is very unusual for the erection to be good in the top part of the penis and flaccid at the base. I would therefore recommend that you see a urologist so that he can check what is going on.
